
The 2nd Annual AUSFUEL / NTCA
Amateur Photographic Competition Competition.
Long term association partner, Ausfuel, has joined with the NTCA for our second annual
photographic competition.
All entries were displayed at the NTCA Annual Conference on 26th March 2010.
Winners were announced at the NTCA Annual Gala Dinner on the evening
of 26th March 2010.

Section 1: Pictorial Black and White – Portrait, landscape or journalistic shot in black and white.

1st Prize:

Section 2: Portrait - is the capture of the likeness of a person or a small group of people (a group portrait), in which the face and expression is predominant. The objective is to display the likeness, personality, and
even the mood of the subject.
1st Prize:
Carol Gleeson - ‘Scott’ (Mary River Stn)

2nd Prize:
Martin Vivian Pearse ‘Joel’ (Labelle Stn)

Section 3: NT Landscape - intended to show different spaces within the NT showing little or no human activity, using instead subjects such as strongly defined landforms, weather, and ambient light.
1st Prize:
Dougal Brett ‘Reflections’ (Waterloo Stn)

2nd Prize:
Paddy Weir ‘Philipson’s Creek Allambi’ (Allambi Stn)

Honourable Mention:
Letty Cook ‘Just Like My Dad’ (Suplejack Stn)

Grand Prize:
Catherine Atkins 'Puppy Love' won an amazing framed photograph of cattle being mustered on Mittibah station
All photographs not only provided an amazing back drop to the 26th Annual General Meeting & Industry Conference in Darwin, they illustrated our unique outback lifestyle and the distinctive Northern Territory people and landscape.
