Northern Territory Regions

 

 

 

The Northern Territory Cattlemen’s Association (NTCA) is the peak primary industry lobby group in the Northern Territory (NT) of Australia.

With a total 1.8 million head of cattle in the Northern Territory, the NT produces 538,000 quality cattle per year.

The NTCA represent over 95% of the NT cattle herd from small family operations to the large corporate organizations.

The NT Pastoral sector is devise and complex industry with local, domestic and international issues impacting on a daily basis.

There are four Branches, Darwin, Alice Springs, Tennant Creek and Katherine. Each branch has its Chairman, Secretary and Committee and conducts regular meetings with members.

Here, local issues are dealt with and Territory, National or International matters are identified and sent to the Association Executive for formal deliberation.
