2024 Georgina Pastoral Future NTCA Program Leaders Celebrate Graduation

The Northern Territory Cattlemen’s Association (NTCA) proudly announces the graduation of the 2024 Georgina Pastoral Future NTCA Program leaders. This year’s graduates have successfully completed the intensive leadership development program, equipping them with the skills, knowledge, and industry connections necessary to drive the future of the Northern Territory’s cattle industry.


The program, a flagship initiative of the NTCA in partnership with Georgina Pastoral Company, offers emerging leaders a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience, engage with industry experts, and develop leadership capabilities that will support the long-term sustainability of the pastoral sector.


NTCA CEO Romy Carey commended the graduates for their commitment and growth throughout the program. “The future of our industry relies on strong, skilled, and passionate leaders. The 2024 cohort has demonstrated exceptional resilience, leadership, and a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities within the cattle industry. We congratulate them on their achievements and look forward to their contributions to the sector,” Romy said.


This year’s graduates represent a diverse cross-section of the industry, reflecting the NTCA’s commitment to fostering leadership that is inclusive and forward-thinking. The program continues to encourage participation from all backgrounds who play a vital role in the Northern Territory’s pastoral sector.


A formal graduation ceremony was be held on 19th March 2025 at Double Tree by Hilton in Darwin where industry stakeholders, mentors, and program partners gathered to celebrate the achievements of the 2024 cohort. Proceedings were opened by the Honourable Gerard Maley, Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries.
