This video forms part of the Carbon Farming Outreach Program (CFOP), funded through the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF). The program aims to help Australian farmers and land managers make more informed decisions around emissions, carbon and natural capital. With so much mixed messaging and confusion in this space, CFOP was developed to provide clearer, more practical information for industry.
Tash and Hollie both completed CFOP training through the Net Zero CRC and are now helping deliver this information back to industry through workshops and producer engagement.
This video focuses on understanding emissions and where they come from, how they are measured, why producers are increasingly being asked about them, and what can actually be done with that information. While carbon projects and markets are touched on briefly, the focus is on understanding the fundamentals first.

They are not scientists or carbon consultants, but they are passionate about helping producers better understand this space.
