The NTCA are always looking for innovative ways in which it can engage and assist communities across the Northern Territory to build relationships and help them achieve their full potential.
Over the years the NTCA has built successful employment programs to assist new entrants to the industry and to reach across cultural and international barriers to provide new opportunities for our members and partner organisations.
One of the best ways in which the NTCA is able to bring people together and open the industry’s doors to community engagement is through our annual NTCA Conference. Each year the conference has grown in size and today accommodates more than 700 delegates and attendees each year to the Territory, to learn about the industry and teach others about new and exciting opportunities.
The NTCA also engages directly with primary school students, providing avenues for them to learn about the industry through our Cows4Schools program, which this year has grown to partner with more than 50 education providers and schools. We also provide learning and professional development opportunities for new and existing members of our industry with the Georgina Pastoral Future NTCA program which continues to go from strength to strength.
